The Electric Palace cinema, Harwich, is one of the oldest purpose-built cinemas to survive complete still relatively intact after being saved and fully restored in the 1970s.
Today it shows films, music and events and is a much loved building in Harwich.
The old website had been patched up over the years and it really needed a rethink and some new design ideas, so after an initial meeting with The Electric Palace Trust we created an outline plan, test area and user journey for The Trustees to see and feedback on.
We created a new website to reflect the history, events and all of the films shown at the cinema.
A WordPress website with booking, film display areas, mail alerts, history information, gallery and a new logo was created based on the original typeface on the building.
Sponsorship and Patrons also had dedicated pages with better links and logos.
After completion we included training for the volunteers in Harwich.
